Mug Holder of the monthSay hello to Neeraj, our Mug Holder of the month from Toit

Our customers have always been our primary focus. They’re the ones who bring life to the place, create memories and end up giving the place its familiar, friendly vibe.

And there are so many different kinds of people who come through our doors daily, that we wanted to get to know their stories.

The Mug Holder of the Month is our little way of celebrating our customers, and their unique stories.

Our standard opening question—why do you think you were selected as the Mug Holder of the month?

I believe it’s because of the number of times I have visited this place.

Are you from Bangalore?

If not, tell us where you are from and how you ended up in Bangalore?

I am basically from Delhi/Uttarakhand. I was born and brought up in Pondicherry. I ended up in Bangalore for work and I have been here since. I love the vibe here.

Can you tell us a little bit about what you do?

I am a Software Engineer working with an IT firm.

What is it about Toit that brings you back here so often?

First- Because of its beers! Toit has lots of good options and their brews are really great which keeps making me come here often.

Second- I have made a lot of good friends in Toit and we are really good buddies even outside of Toit.

Third – The staff in Toit are super friendly. I have a long list of names of staff members who give us good hospitality when I am with my friends, office colleagues or even when I am alone.

A few of your favourite things at Toit?

Food. I have come here many times to just have dinner. Some of my favourites here are Bacon wrapped chicken, Spicy chicken Pizza & Pepperoni Pizza.

Tell us about things other than work that interest you?

Music, Travelling and Reading non-fiction book and reading books/topics related to technology. Oh and also, pulling my friend’s leg! 😊

What’s your favourite beer and are you one to try new/seasonal brews? Any brew you miss?

My all-time favourite is the Irish Red. I always try the seasonal brews. “Young Monk” was damn good!

If you were to write a book on beer what would you title it and why?

I have two: A. Young monk who left hard drinks and drank only beer. B. A man who lies about beer makes enemies.

Is there anything you want readers to know about you that’s beer-related?

Beer, if drunk in moderation, cheers the spirit and promotes health.

Name 3 ways in which beer has improved your day?

Entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.

What beer would you recommend to your significant other?

Irish Red, when you want to go for a strong beer, and Toit Hefeweizen if you’re going to go for a light beer.

What’s your favourite beer pairing? (Name the beer as well)

A. Lemon chicken and the Hefeweizen B. Irish Red and bacon-wrapped chicken or chicken wings.

When was the first time you drank beer? What made you like it?

The first beer I had, after coming to Bangalore was bottled beer. I was never a big fan of beers until I visited Toit. This place has changed my perspective on beers.
