Loyalty is a virtue we cherish. We’re overwhelmed with the kind of loyalty Toit has inspired in people and we’ve decided that it’s time to do some rewarding.
Presenting the Kudix Mug Holder of the Month. It’s our small way of recognising and thanking our patrons, who return week after week, with friends and family in tow, and make Toit the boozy, buzzing brewpub it is.
Our Mug Holder for the Month of July is Yashas.
He’s been around from the time Toit started all the way back in 2010, and even though he went off to the UK for a year in between, he came right back. And he’s been coming here every weekend since. He’s fast friends with every single member of the staff, and you might see him doing a lot of waving and greeting at Toit.
Yashas tells us his Toit stories, and what keeps him coming back, every single week.
Q.1 What’s your favourite Toit Brew?
Yashas: The Hefeweizen and the Dark Knight.
Q.2 What’s the most memorable memory at Toit?
Yashas: I am here every weekend, so there are too many incidents to choose from. But one time, about 12 of us came here, and ran up a bill of Rs. 28,000.
This other time we were here, at one point during the night, there were about 27 beers on the table. So yeah. Lots of different incidents.
Q.3 Have you always been a beer lover?
Yashas: Yes. I have always liked beer.
Q.4 What are the other kinds of beers you like?
Yashas: I really like Guinness. I like the strong flavour of the Stout in general.
Q.5 What’s the most amount of beer you’ve had in one sitting?
Yashas: 7.
Q.6 What would be the ingredients of your fantasy beer?
Yashas: I am a traditional kind of guy. I wouldn’t add anything unusual to beer. I like it the way it is. But if I absolutely HAD to, maybe a beer with a hint of the Coke-Vanilla float we used to have as kids. But only just a slight hint.
Q.7 How does it feel, being a Kudix Mug Holder?
Yashas: Feels really good. I told my friends about it too! And I’m the first one in my group to become the Mug Holder, so it’s great. And this Mug is going to give me serious bragging rights. I am going to pour a whole bunch of drinks into it, starting with my dad’s whiskeys.
